Green Means Give is a community giving connector based in San Diego. We spotlight 12 nonprofit organizations every year, connecting our community to causes helping kids across the globe. We're not a 501(c)(3). We're the bridge.

Kibuye, Burundi
Scholarships for 5 kids at Discovery School, school supplies for 1,600 students, and critical medical supplies for Kibuye Hope Hospital. All fully funded.

In Burundi, small amounts create enormous change. Our first-ever campaign targeted three specific needs, and our community delivered on all of them.
Scholarships
Only 28% of children in Burundi finish elementary school. For $152 per child, we fund 5 kindergarteners at Discovery School – Kibuye for a full academic year.
School Supplies
Kids in Kibuye are in desperate need of supplies. For just $0.41 per child, 1,600 students each get a notebook and a pen for the entire year.
Medical Supplies
Kibuye Hope Hospital has a critical shortage of intraosseous needles needed to treat severe dehydration in children. Fully preventable.
